  • Experience a Stonebridge Learning course, including how to navigate from page to page, download Course Pack materials, and take a course assessment.
  • Discover how we balance course content, proven professional development practices, and appropriate learning technologies to provide you with an efficient, effective, and affordable continuing education experience.

Instructions

Stonebridge Learning courses are easy to take! And, you can take them at your own pace! You have one (1) year from the date you registered to access all of the course materials. So even if you've completed the course, you can come back to review things whenever you would like.

Navigate from chapter to chapter using the left-hand navigation column and from page to page using the rectangular forward and back buttons (they will appear in the upper right-hand corner, where you see the "Chapter 1" button now). Click the "Chapter 1" button when you're ready to begin.

Be sure to click on links within the text to read important resources located outside of the Vitrivius Learning Management System (Vitruvius LMS). We've linked to important articles, websites, and videos to help illustrate and expand upon course topics. We've also included links to existing and upcoming Stonebridge Learning courses that will help your understanding about the topic.

Course Assessments

Course assesments used throughout the course to test your understanding of the course materials. Most assessments will be simple quizzes with more than one question. After you click on your answer to the question, select the "Check Response" button at the bottom of the page to see if you answered correctly. Vitruvius LMS will tell you whether you were correct or incorrect. To navigate between the questions, click on the round forward and back buttons at the bottom of the assessment screen.

Course Pack Materials

Course Pack Materials are take-aways with information about key concepts in the course. In most cases, they are simple PDFs that can be saved to your computer. It might be helpful to you to download Course Pack Materials to follow along while you are taking the course. They are presented in sidebars with a download button and are also available in the course summary at the end of the course.

Bibliography

Are you curious about where you can find out more information about the topic in a course? Be sure to look at the Bibliography page at the end of a course. We include references used to develop the course, all of which are good references for you to have in your library, too. Be sure to look for them at your neighborhood bookstore.
